Performing Arts and Parish Education and Fellowship Center

Phase I is composed of the construction of a new Performing Arts and Parish Center. The facility is one building with two wings.

Performing Arts Center:This 35,745 square foot wing will house our schools' instrumental music, choir and dance program. It will contain a professionally equipped theater seating for 350, a black box theater, two dance studios, two band rooms, a choir room, a media center for the teaching of broadcast journalism and two additional classrooms for our fine arts program. An open-air plaza on the second floor serves as a gathering area during theater performance intermissions and as a break area for office staff during the day.The new Performing Arts Center will also enable the teaching of performing arts for both the elementary and high schools jointly.

Parish Education and Fellowship Center: A 25,717 square foot wing will contain a Community Hall that will seat 400 (300 dining) and service both the parish and the two schools, new office space for school and church administration, classrooms and meeting spaces that can be used by the schools, the numerous church-based outreach organizations and support groups as well as local civic organizations. The new Center—offering abundant space for school, church, and community activities will include a stage/platform, a kitchen and serving line, three meeting rooms, and dedicated religious education and youth ministry spaces. The main hall, as well as one of the meeting rooms, will be divisible for simultaneous use. Adjacent to the main hall is a small and welcoming adoration chapel as well as community room that serves as a gathering place after Mass. An open-air plaza on the second floor serves as a gathering area during theater performance intermissions and as a break area for office staff during the day.

Site for Phase I:The land upon which Phase I construction will take place is now occupied by the former convent, the former church (now known as Madonna Hall) and the current rectory and parish offices. Realizing Phase I will not only provide a modern performing arts center for our students in place of our severely deficient facilities, in addition it will allow us to continue to recruit and sustain healthy enrollments at both schools. By strengthening our parish facilities, it allows the parish, which feeds our schools, to grow and thrive as well.
